Rules and Guidelines
Entry Fee: $35 for up to 2 images. Each additional entry is $10.
Dates: July 8th and July 9th, 2008

To Enter:
- Fill out show registration form completely with mailing address. Entries must be received no later than June 20, 2008. Send registration form,4x6 photos or digital images (Jpeg), Bio, SASE, along with check made payable to Art Nouveau Gallery, 9626 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach SC 29572. (843)449-6202. Label images and print on back of photos the title, medium, artist’s name and sale price for each item submitted.
- All work must be an original creation of the artist. Giclee prints will be judged in Mixed Media category. Competition open to anyone over 18 years of age.
- Artwork must be limited to a maximum size of 48” unframed. The art should be properly framed with wire hangers only, no saw-tooth hangers please.
- Sculptures weight limitation – 100 pounds. Artist is responsible for the delivery and setup of items that exceed 50 pounds.
- Art Nouveau Gallery reserves the right to reject any entry that is deemed inappropriate or requires special installation or care.
- Submission will be judged and artist notified upon acceptance of your work.
- Artist accepted into show will be requested to provide a brief one page bio that will be displayed at show.
- Artwork accepted into show must be delivered to the Ocean Dunes Conference Center 201 75th Ave North, Myrtle Beach SC on Tuesday July 8th between 9 AM and 1PM.
- Awards will be presented during the Pre-Opening Reception on July 8th. 6 – 10 PM. The reception is a ticketed event. Each artist accepted in show will get one free ticket to Pre-Opening Reception. Each additional ticket will be $25.00. Ticket proceeds go to charity.
- Art Nouveau is responsible for the safety and security of artwork. Reasonable care will be given to the artwork submitted but Art Nouveau Gallery does not assume liability for any loss or damage of any artwork submitted while in its possession. Submitting works of art implies an agreement by the artist to the conditions of paragraph10. Artwork shipped via any mail carrier should be insured and properly packaged. All shipping costs to and from event are the responsibility of the artist.
- Art Nouveau Gallery will deduct a 35% commission for the sale of any artwork during “A Tribute to Women” Art Show and Benefit and for any sale of art while on exhibit at Art Nouveau Gallery during the month of July, 2008.
- Artist must pick up unsold art on July 10th , 10AM-12PM only.
